We get 371k Wyndham points each year.
Years past, I’ve put our excess Wyndham points into the RCI exchange bank. I call for availability, make my choices and pay $189 for each exchange. Pretty straight forward but not cheap.
This year I’m considering putting the 2009 excess into the Wyndham Credit Pool. Don’t know how to use that benefit. I’ve been reading, but there’s much to read.
It sounds good, but I think there are glitches I should be made aware of.
If I place points into Wyndham’s Credit Pool, what value do we lose?
Can I use pooled points along with 2010 points?
May pooled points be used for nightly stays or for a partial week stay?
We wish to juggle one week on the West Coast then jump to 2 or 3 weeks in Hawaii, if available in succession. We plan to use RCI Exchange Weeks, Wyndham availability and Credit Pool points.
Any help about using the pool will be appreciated.
