  • When do you get your new lot of points

Still waiting on my Timeshare finalisation.

Am buying into an RCI Resort and will be getting points tranferred with the Purchase.

Just wanting to know if I bank my points with RCI, when do I get my new lot of points?

Also do I have to go through RCI to use my own Resort? If not, do I just contact my Resort to make arrangements.

Read this thread that you started earlier - all your questions were answered here - I learned a few things by reading it as well.

I am none the wiser for your comment.

Would prefer direct answers to my questions

SORRY - can't actually see the answers to my questions that you mentioned.

I thought that this would be a helpful Forum.

As a person new to Timeshare, I am trying to get as much info as possible. You referring me to my previous thread hasn't helped me as I have obviously not understood.

So all I am asking is the answers to my questions.

when you buy a TS with points you should have as part of your purchase agreement a specification of when you get your points. For instance, when I converted fro mRCI weeks to points, the conversion agreement specifies that I get my points on January 1 each year, even though I own a floating week.

Still awaiting my Timeshare finalisation. It is at the Land Title's Office.

I was told it would take 4-6 weeks. Still waiting.

Most of the TS's I've purchased have taken 3 months to finally get all set up. Not sure why these things take so long since buying regular real estate doesn't take this long but it's quite annoying.

I've just taken on a foreclosure unit from the HOA of a TS and even that one is taking more than 3 months now. I started the process in mid June and still no account set up.
