Exchanging or renting out DRI points

I own 15,000 annual points in DRI California Collection. I am interested in exchanging or renting them out as points. I read the TUG Marketplace to get an idea. Everyone seems to be exchanging or renting specific weeks that they have reserved. Is it possible to do without reserving first?
Also, what is a reasonable rent to charge for a 2 BR unit at Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort in a good week in summer or winter?

You need to make the best possible reservations

at the most popular resorts for say June 30-July 7, and then rent that week.

Trying to rent points or any unconfirmed reservation is not going to get many responses and those that do will be looking for weeks that aren't available as they were booked already.

As to how much for Tahoe, I don't know, check redweek. Tug and myresortnetwork for a range pf pricing.
