  • Hello everyone

I just joined the forum today. Also spent the last few days at the Fountains and loved it. It was our 4th trip there. We also did what we said that we wouldn't do, which was purchase more points and upgrade to Silver membership. We got the 20,000 points for $1.49 a point. They gave us 2 RCI weeks for the next three years and another 4,000 points as a incentive. We did find out that the 4,000 could not be used during the peak season. Next year we are going to Big Cedar.

We have a couple RCI certificates. We have never been able to use them because of the wife's schedule.

Maybe it was the time we were at Big Cedar vs. The Fountains, but I think I liked the Fountains better. Actually, when I think of the BG resorts we have visited, I think we liked the Fountains the best of all. I do not understand why SOME of the Florida cars don't seem to come with turn signals. Hmm. Different models I guess.

Big Cedar is okay for water related activities, fishing, boating, nice dam tour. Do not EVER go to Branson over 4th of July. It is stop and stop traffic. All the old people are out for a drive to the next show.

      Welcome to TS4M's

Don't know anything about the points, but glad that you enjoyed your stay at The Fountains. Have fun at Big Cedar.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

And Brody, Sometime go to St. Augustine. We were there second week in March. I don't golf, but if you do, this is heaven. Resort is on a very nice golf course. Lots to do in St. Augustine for history stuff. Oldest town and very interesting town too. Fort in town is really wonderful. Ghost tour is fun. Trolley takes you practically everywhere. Nice town to walk also. I bought a couple hand rolled cigars, and I don't even smoke. Great beach for walking, fishing and even some surfing.

Or…Resort has really nice pool, movies on site, restaurants and grocery store at the edge of the golf course (mile and a half drive or half mile walk). Stay at the resort and relax.

In some respects, I am a new owner, having owned only since 2002. New compared to some in the 4m, but I have managed to stay at a few resorts. We are always looking about a year out for our next vacation plans.

I hope you get to make use of Bluegreen, their resorts and this site. This forum is more important than the owner update. You will learn about how to use the points, and just timeshare or travel suggestions, which will help you vacation better.
