  • Newbie Question - Availability4Real

We haven't yet purchased our TS but are about to buy some wyndham points. Our question is - How limited is availabilty to resorts other than your home base? Can we get just about anywhere anytime or do we have to be flexible and patient? We are buying with MB Oceans as our home resort.

    Hello and to TS4Ms!

The good news is you have yet to purchase! Please make yourself to home.

Here is the forum for Wyndham resorts: Wyndham/Fairfield Resorts - Timeshare Forums You should begin by reading the "stickies" at the top. Use the search function in that forum and read. Feel free to ask questions! We have very knowledgable Wyndham owners here.

In the recent VOA meeting, it is said that there are about 350,000 owners, and about 910,000 intervals. And each owner usually owns avg. 1.8 interval according to industrial avg. Hopefully, that give you some idea.

There are areas where they have over 1,000 units in their system. And there are places where although they have resorts list, there may have few units (RI come to mind). When you get their directory, you will see one of the indicates is the availability. Unfortuantely, it just word like high, limited, and limited at prime season or something like that.
