RCI deposits/Last Minute

OK, so if I don't understand ANY of this (I am reading this site as much as I can, but still a noob), where do I find out how to use Last Call for example? When I log in to RCI points, it shows $$ per night, not points? Can someone direct me to a thread that explains some of the things lawren2 is talking about here?

Both Last call and Extra Vacation are RCI's renting side for exchanger. They only use money, you don't have to do exchange (i.e., give up your point), in fact, they probably will not accept exchange ( use to be they will do the exchange if EV's amount is less than a number, not sure if it still allowed or not). The difference is LC is usually within 45 days or less. EV is all the good top resorts (or they believe so).

For exchange, you need to click on exchange tab. Anything in week side that is within 45 days you can use 9000 RCI point to get it . I don't believe RCI point has discount.
