Does having RCI deposits have anything to do with grabbing RCI Last Minute deals?

If you are speaking about Last Call no. Just having an RCI account permits that.

So, making several Wyndham Points deposits with RCI is for exchanging only. Wishing to grab RCI specials has nothing to do with that.

        That's it in a nutshell.
However, when you get in the 14 to 45 day window and trade power no longer matters you can pick up some excellent trades using very low cost units.

So, if on a Monday we are sitting at the pool, using my laptop I see an excellent exchange across the street or down the road a bit, grab onto it and expect to move bags rather then return home.

I suppose I could enjoy doing that. So 28k deposits come in handy then?

            VERY.
Someone just took advantage of a bulk bank and got 2 very nice Hawaiian weeks using 28k generics for next year. Plus you will also get the Wyndham preference. When we first spotted the Dolphins Cove bulk bank another used a cheap generic to score a 3BDRM summer exchange.

You will have to play with the Wyndham people to learn how to get the best use. You can find all the Wynfield folks here: http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...field-resorts/

And always your best friend will be the RCI Exchange Opportunity board. This is where everyone is seeing what is out there so they can call and use the generics for exchange.

Sometimes when there is a bulk spacebank there is enough fluctuation in trade power required to allow a lesser unit to get them. The WYN preference worked in favor of the 1 example I cited.

I was just going to direct Bob to this thread - I bet a 28K Wyndham deposit will pull these - and if your 28K deposit MFs cost you $150 plus an exchange fee of $164 - it looks like a VERY good deal to me!

Edit - Lawren, canu u move this to the Wyndham forum????
I think Bob could get some good guidance there.

They are both in distress. 45/14 day is due to the actual trip day will be expired. Bulk space bank is due to suddenly a lot of inventory in RCI's system. Also, if you match the overbuild area, it has the same effect.

RCI does try to fix the space bank issue, so sometime with 28k, you will need to wait a few days. In that case, Wyndham's internal perference can determine if you get it or not.

So if you have a lot of time, and don't mind to have the best lodging (since you are depends on these different situations, can not be too picked on the quality/time combination, you should enjoy very much 28k deposit.

You may also want to joint Wyndham HOA in this forum.

Forget to add the travel time also could cost distress. So if you looking for a beach area that are off to the boundary of fall or minddle of spring, or FL in summer, you will have very good chance to get a match and some are pretty nice resorts.

OK, so if I don't understand ANY of this (I am reading this site as much as I can, but still a noob), where do I find out how to use Last Call for example? When I log in to RCI points, it shows $$ per night, not points? Can someone direct me to a thread that explains some of the things lawren2 is talking about here?

                              Thanks for any help!
