October 31, 2009 Me and my wife attended a seminar for VACATION PARADISE REWARDS, out of Desert Hot Springs, CA. We paid 6,000.00 cash for the right to access their site and search for greatly reduced rates on 5 star condo's. Has anyone delt with this group. They failed to mention the right to cancel, but I know its in the paper work. I just need some quick and good advice. I can't seem to find any negative remarks searching the internet. Thanks

vacation paradise rewards
i was at the presentation in august and saw a resort up in cebu philippines, which is where i am from, so i also bought in for 5995 with just 20% down. and booked a trip instantly at the resort for october, and went there for a week and paid only 299dollars for the entire 7nights in a 1bedroom timeshare condo. I must admit that at first i was skeptical, but after searching in the internet and finding no bad publicity i decided to try it. I never found a price even close to 299, for that resort so i thought it was a good bargain. After my trip i was completely satisfied and look forward to using the other weeks i get each year.I have looked at buying timeshares before but they are always 3x more expensive for just a week ownership.

What a waste of time and money
Lucky for me I was able to cancel within the 72 hours limit. Only problem was I got hit for $250.00 Dollars that was non refundable as some sort of admin charge for putting us in there system(which thay nerver did) and I sighed for it.
I was told that it takes two weeks for the $5995.00 to credit to my charge. I hope for the best since me and my wife have learned our lesson when it comes to these worthless presentations promising "free" trips witch are not free. WE were promised a free round trip airfare W/2 nights stay to anywhere in the United States. It cost $65.00 dollars to register, then 300.00 dollars to book the trip then all we get is a $250.00 credit towards the airfare for two destinations( Las Vages or Florida). What a peice of crap. WE have learned our lesson and have alerted our family and friends about this mess

I purchased this product on Oct 31,2009 and cancelled via regist mail on Nov 02, 2009. I was told that my refund takes two weeks. Its been over three weeks. I called and was told Thay had not received the money from my credit card company, which is a lie. now I'm being told to keeping checking back with the company for new updates on my refund..The last time I called I was told to just file a dispute with my credit card company..

This is the first part of the whole mess. I put $200 toward the $250 processing fee. We purchased on November 18th and the payment processed on November 20th. I wasn't too concerned about it until over 6 weeks has gone by and we still haven't received the User ID and Password. Now that we have been making phone calls and researching this company, we are finding out that this is a scam. I believe I should have this money refunded. I am unable to get anyone on the phone. They do not return phone calls, and all of their numbers are Cell Phones that are listed as unpublished or unavailable on the www.Dexknows.com, reverse directory. I have currently done everything in my power to correct this situation and I believe that I have been ripped off through a very good scam artist. I believe they let just enough people get their service to keep things looking legitimate, but manage to scam most people out of their processing fee, down payment and first months installment, which comes to about $1016 in my case.
I have been trying to get a response from this company since December 10th, 2009. I have left messages at all phone numbers listed in the agreement and I have not received any return phone calls. The only number that a person answers is the reservation line and the reps there have told me that I am not in the system and to call corporate. I call that number and get a recording, even though it is during “office hours”.
The third party billing company (Universal Account Servicing) that processes the monthly installments has stated that she has received complaint concerning this company and the fact that the services are not being provided.
This company operates under the names: Miracle Springs Hotel-Desert Hot Springs, CA, Vacation Paradise Rewards, and Dream Vacation Rewards-Las Vegas, NV.
Additionally, the contract that I signed is incomplete and should be void. I am prepared to take this company to court and to turn them in to the Better Business Bureau. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Count me in on lawsuit!
I only wish the internet wasn't miraculously down while I was in the conference room deciding whether or not to purchase. Conveniently, it was down for the entire six hours. I should have listened to my intuition.
Everything that has happened here has happened over and over again, and both the financier company and the vacation rewards company are changing their names. My experience I have seen on the internet, told by countless people.
I will be filing with the Nevada State Attorney General as of tomorrow.
Vacation Priority Rewards is also known (so far to me) as:
Vacation Paradise Rewards (I got offered this scam in HI)
Dream Vacation Rewards
Miracle Springs Hotel
Universal Guardian Acceptance, LLC is also known as:
Universal Account Services, LLC

Posts about dissatisfied customers:

And a number of other places. I'll be lucky if I don't end up like so many other people, losing their homes because of the fraudulent charges, etc.

Obviously Vacation Priority rewards competitors!
It is really a shame that forums like this allow postings from anonymous posters who maliciously abuse sites like this just to get an edge in the marketplace.....The reason they use sites like this is because their required no proof of their slander and they can hide behind alias names without showing their identity mainly because they know they could be sued for slander or defamation of character. This poster is obviously the competition trying in anyway possible to defame Vacation Priority Rewards by posting rubbish. First of all they clearly state they saw this in Hawaii....then they go on to say its all these other companies also....well since they really are not a member and dont know about the product they cant specifically say anything about the product....they can only say scam.....so when they have a customer that bought with vacation priority rewards and have been recycled into their sales operation they can show this blog and hope to cancel vacation priority rewards customer and rewrite that client into their product.
Forums like this should require some type of proof before allowing these types of commercial warfare.
I do know that vacation priority rewards is a seperate and stand alone company with no other names and locations and that there is over 200000 happy members utilizing this product for over a decade with very few complaints....and even if you see two or three complaints thats not bad for a member base so large. Unfortunately happy clients just dont blog so there is never many good blogs.
The true test of any product is trying it and evaluating it for yourself and not getting swayed by competitors propaganda. But do know this if you make a decision to commit and try out vacation priority rewards product you will be commited to that choice and not be able to get your money back...so review all the reasons you decided to try it and realize that they would not be in business very long in a city like las vegas if they were not on the up and up.

Thread smells.........
When I review the entire thread it appears that there may have been a "real" customer complaint - somewhere- though I'm not sure.
Let me help everyone here out. This is real inside knowledge that the developers and the scam artists really don't want you to know.
If you feel that you've been defrauded, cheated, scammed or ripped off - the place to go is the company first and to the Attorney General second.
This is what real people do/should do when they want there money back or feel that they've been had. The AG and local courts are the right way to handle these types of issues. The courts require "real" people on both sides of an issue and require them to show up.
Posting in forums, threats with class action suits and the ilk are common themes for some scam-sters. There is a group of people that actually "blackmail" and try to extort developers out of money this way. To see how these people disappear before and after there day in court is amazing.
As a vacationer, business person and consultant in this industry for many years I can tell you this string of complaints smells. I can also guarantee that if you are a consumer and go to the AG - no legitimate business will ignore it.
The company response also "accuses" these complaints as coming from competitors. My gut tells me this is also the case. I'm not sure about this particular company itself, so I'm not recommending they are without fault. ONLY......
Consider - Back in November of last year there was a string of "complaints"/ and prompts for people to cancel. This is very curious that they were real customers and then just disappeared.
Also it's very interesting that the complaint mentions by name the companies, addresses, class action lawsuits, attorney generals, links, etc....
Saveusall as a user name is questionable at best in a thread like this.
All the supplied links is to me a dead giveaway though. It seems to me that a concerned customer who really believes that they had been scammed would clearly and repeatedly write in a forum like this if they would write at all.
I think we'd see a string of posts from the same person, clearly identifying themselves for 2 reasons. First is in an attempt to get THEIR money back and Secondly to SAVE someone else of the same fate.
I betcha if someone did this the company would've immediately responded.
Best advice here is don't pay attention to these type of complaints in forums. If you are wronged, go to the AG in that state. If someone you're considering doing business is accused, ask the AG's state office about complaints and their status.

Hey Upman, I wouldn't be talking about odd user names. Perhaps you also missed this in the first post:
"I have been trying to get a response from this company since December 10th, 2009. I have left messages at all phone numbers listed in the agreement and I have not received any return phone calls. The only number that a person answers is the reservation line and the reps there have told me that I am not in the system and to call corporate. Perhaps you are just a con man for one of the many con outfits involved.
