Got ours at a downtown store. Noticed this morning on a JR auction that they spell it Upmann, or to be more precise "H. Upmann". Sounds less like a side effect.

Freedom of Speech???LOL
Just wanted to let everyone know that StevieVLLC was banned from posting anymore for just making some honest comments about the ridiculous comments that tonyg the moderator had been making on every positive post or comment to stand up for Vacation Priority Rewards. So Much for "Freedom of Speech....supposed to be a constitutional right but obviously its only allowed if your knocking some company or other persons blog. However if you read tonyg's blog he does call names also using the word stupid, how come he did not get banned...oh he gets to do whatever cause hes a moderator....such a fair blogging site...joke!
Anyway to move on, the most important reason I have decided to write this blog was to let all of you know that we here at VPR have sent out emails to hundreds of our owners and asked them to blog here representing their opinion about these opinions and if they have had good or bad experiences with vpr. So get ready for an avalanche of first time posters...and yes because you are the super moderators, you can call all of them shills especially since they will be first time posters. But in reality its ok to defend our name especially if its a good one.

Freedom of speech is a great thing, but it is easily abused by greedy self interested people who will try to cover up a scam. There is no pure freedom of speech here, it is adjusted by the rules found in our FAQ section. If you don't like and don't follow those rules or any new ones we make, you will be banned from the site. If you don't like the way we run things---go elsewhere (where you may find less freedom).

To CarolF and Group...Continued concern
He was deleted from Yelp because he signed on as his 'fictional friend' who 'loves the company' and Yelp was warned, discovered it to be true, and removed all postings. I know, because I reported him.
I am also experiencing the company's refusal to cancel, in addition to all of the badness that has happened so far. They directed me to the financier, who stated explicitly that they do not own the contract (very contrary to what Steve said to me over the phone) and that I would have to cancel through them. Now I can't get them to answer the phone again. I guess certified letter will have to do. With a return receipt, of course.
I have also reported this business to the Nevada Attorney General's office, who is beginning investigation into the matter.
Outside of that, I am required to continue payments on this plan until I can get confirmation (as if that's going to happen) from Vacation Paradise Rewards that it was cancelled. That, or my credit is impacted, and I have great credit.
The other thing I'd like to mention is, with very little digging I discovered that Steve has had two filings against him in Las Vegas alone: one for running a strip club with a name that obviously was a rip off From Caesar's Palace (Teaser's Palace), and the second for serving unlicensed alcohol, for which he has still not paid in full. He has had several business licenses revoked over the years, and his other company names have also gone under heavy scrutiny and litigation for being a scam and fraud. He has had (if not now) several liens put against his house, business, etc. and is a known gambler. While usually character judgement is something I reserve even during business transactions, the clear fraud that is occurring currently by yet another company he's running makes it important to me.
I am not, however, surprised he was banned from this site for verbal abuse. I've experienced nothing but when trying to get this contract cancelled over the phone with him. While name calling is the least of my worries, his derision, word choices, and admission that he and his office staff have been ignoring my calls since I tried to cancel that first day are just the proverbial icing on the cake.
Note: I am in a different state than NV, but if anyone is pursuing a class action lawsuit, I want in. I refuse to believe that the public is willing to sit aside and let this company once again con people out of their money and time.
I don't know what to do about this anymore. The volley between the financier (Universal) and Vacation Priority Rewards (the latter of which is clearly responsible and capable of canceling my contract and has promised to cancel in the past but has not) is taxing, and looking like it is going nowhere. Does anyone have any constructive advice for me on how I can get this company to cancel? At this point, I am willing to take the money hit just so I can have them out of my life permanently.

Holy cow!!
This is amazing that the principles, sale people or whoever they are would be so confrontational over a few accurate criticisms of their “VPR” Company. Their comments speak volumes regarding their integrity .I feel pretty good I was able to avoid this group. A lesson to all: forums like this one are so necessary, and we should search out this type of information before we purchase anything costly. I know I will. Thank god for the World Wide Web

In that regard I will note that others have pretty well exposed the nature of this operation. Meanwhile I will address your silliy screaming that your "constitutional rights" have been violated.
If you're going to assert that your rights have been violated, I think it a good idea to know what you are babbling about. But you choose to prattle on, hanging your ignorance out there like laundry on the clothesline.
So, let's take a look at the Freedom of Speech. Freedom of Speech is articulated in the First Amendment to the US Constitution, quoted in it's entirely below:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
It seems pretty clear to me. Freedom of speech means that Congress cannot abridge your right to speak. And since we're not the US Congress, there's nothing that we could ever do here that would violate your constitutional right to free speech.
But then, judging from your string of posts I think it's fair to say that clear and informed thinking and discussion aren't exactly among your strengths, are they?“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”
“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”
“You shouldn't wear that body.”

However, I want to know more about Vacation Priority Rewards because -
Originally posted by phillipbThey went into action immediately and relocated
me into the Alexis Park resorts in a one bedroom suite that normally goes
for $179 (USD) a night. Vacation Priority Rewards got me an all inclusive
rate of 39 per night which beat any price or deal that I could research on
Travelocity, Priceline or Expedia! I am completely satisfied with Vacation
Priority Rewards customer service and their attentiveness to my needs. I
know this was just a short term instant request but I look forward to the
best deals utilising Vacation Priority Rewards’ software that I purchased.

Not sure about their program but it may be similar to another system which utilizes software to buy weeks from sites like skyauction, expedia, travelocity, the multitude of RCI rental sites and others to find the lowest available price. The outfit that sells that charges a couple of thousand or more for the software plus an annual fee, plus the cost of the vacation. Though a system like this may be sustainable, the cost may rise and the availability of good places may shrink once the economy is sufficiently restored to eliminate or reduce the amount of low priced weeks available. Since no one has explained how it works, the system is probably a high priced alternative for those who do not wish to shop around for a vacation and a pot of gold for the sharks that sell it.

Possibly a lot of the buyers wouldn't know how to shop around for holiday deals either.

Majidakai just makes it up as he goes....no truth in his content....first of all where he says I am a fictional character....thats why yelp deleted my blog. Not true... here is the email to me by them...check it for yourself (I was just trying to express my contentment for the vpr software and great rate that I got for a one bedroom suite)
