    Actually, that's quite true.

The only savings you receive are last minute deals that make it impossible, or very expensive, to purchase air fare for the trip. It's too bad that I didn't get there in time to post the price comparison, but I'll note Steve's Friend, so to speak, didn't post a price comparison.

As for the deals that were extended to October 24th, the happened only the day that he posted, and not before.

Regarding Marketplace and Airfare, I'm not certain what to say. It says nothing about an additional percentage off in my contract and the customer service representative I spoke to explicitly stated that the price was solid, and that no discounts were offered... that the only guarantee (as I have to restate) is that they'll offer a mirrored lowest price available in the market.

I'll probably drift into silence at this point here. Steve's Friend clearly, to me, is Steve himself, based on his grammar, punctuation, spelling, word choice and phrases, not to mention his immediately hostilility to anyone who speaks out about a negative experience.

For those of you who are interested in the steps that I will be taking, as they are already underway, please feel free to private message me. I've learned quite a bit through this mistake, and if you need guidance towards your initial steps, I can point you at least in a few right directions.

    Thanks everyone.

What's This? Are you an owner, employee or ex-employee with either negative or positive information about the company or individual, or can you provide "insider information" on this company?

The third party billing company (Universal Account Servicing) that processes the monthly installments has stated that she has received complaint concerning this company and the fact that the services are not being provided.

This company operates under the names: Miracle Springs Hotel-Desert Hot Springs, CA, Vacation Paradise Rewards, and Dream Vacation Rewards-Las Vegas, NV.

          look whats done is done

This forum contacted me through my email. I go to this site and find your reply about my credit card dispute. look I dealt with this company over a year ago, and found them to be a joke. but I learned a lesson from the experience. Why waste your time with these rip off deals. There are all types of internet auction sites that sell the same product for a fraction of the cost. The free show tickets are not worth it.

            enough is enough

            East 72.............
Im sure you would not buy a timeshare for 20000 dollars either....the company you bought from is different owners than ours, but we have a similar product....the only irony is that you never got the product and used it because you cancelled within three days which is what is allowed by law and on top of that you got your money back...so we are not sure what your angle is but it only shows that they were a responsible company that acted properly in your case.....thats a positive endorsement. Our product is far supeior than those others that you say can be bought on the internet for cheaper but just remember you always get what you pay for!!!
However I am quite sure you didnt buy any of those either so you can now pay full rate in hotels and resorts all over the world for ever....gee...let me see.....Retail or wholesale....you make the choice. We are pretty much done blogging here on this forum because it just does not seem that any fair rebuttal or representation gets nothing but bad comments from the powers that be....this is a shame because both sides of every case should be able to express themselves without recieving undue comments without research. Bye Bye

In a post from Close2realize they indicated that they did the Vacation Priority Rewards presentation on 10/20/2010. This hit home because we were there on the same day and did purchase a vacation club package.

I have had private messages with close2realize and also tonyg (moderator). Close2realize ended up not buying and I said that I would report my findings after I received access to the online system. By the way I did get the gift that was promised.

The online system was supposed to be available within 2 weeks and it was only one week to the day when I was given my userid and password. Not all parts of the online system were available at that time but after a couple more days everything was working fine.

This is definitely not a scam. The VPR online system accesses a number of sites. I jotted down the website names. The main login website for vacationpriorityrewards.net screensize indicates it's powered by Condores. I found a similar login screen at condores.net. That company is RSI (Reservation Services International), accessrsi.com. Reservation Services International, a division of Preferred Guest Services preferredguestllc.com. Hotel, Marketplace & Cruise Map use Destination Rewards destinationrewards.com (This website is owned and operated by Destination Rewards, Inc., the provider of Extra Cash from Citi.). Cruise Search and Request uses Online Agency onlineagency.com.

I am mainly interested in cruising and VPR will match or beat any price from a travel agent or from the cruiseline directly. I've submitted online cruise information requests and the reservation office in Orlando has called me back a few times with prices on the cruises I asked about.

I live at Jacksonville Beach, FL and one cruise I'm interested in is a 7 day cruise out of Jacksonville on 9/17/2010. The Carnival Fascination was refurbished with new balconies last year and I wanted to try them out. Normally the Fascination only does 5 and 4 night cruises but in 2011 they are doing a couple of 7 night cruises. The VPR Orlando reservation department was able to get me an Early Saver price in a category 8A cabin for $1564.32. The Carnival system indicates the same price:

              Balcony Stateroom
              # of Travelers: 2 Travelers
              Rate: Early Saver [$1,458.00]
              Stateroom: Balcony [Incl.]
              Location: Aft [Incl.]
              Deck: Main [Incl.]
              Room: 0
              Airport Transfers
              Gratuities
              Subtotal*
              Total 2 Travelers: $1,458.00 *
              Gov't Fees/Taxes: $106.32
              Total: $1,564.32

The benefit with being a VPR member is that some of the cruise reward dollars that you are given each year are returned to you 30 to 45 days after cruising. My rewards for this cruise will be $182.00 so the VPR program does sell a cruise cheaper than the cruiseline by returning 5 to 10 percent of the cruise price as a rebate.

I did try out the Hotel Rewards section of the website and here is my experience. We are Florida residents and have a couple of days left to go to Disney and we also have a yearly pass to Universal. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandson wanted to take an Orlando vacation starting 12/25/10 to 1/1/10 when they are off work and out of school. There wasn't any availability in the VPR condo section so I used the hotel section of the website. I was able to find and book a 2 bedroom suite for the dates mentioned in Kissimmee (which is really close to Disney). It's at the Orbit One Vacation Villas and the parent company also owns Liki Tiki Village. The unit includes 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and washer & dryer. It may not be the Ritz but I did find good feedback on Trip Rewards. I think it was trip rewards where I was able to compare prices on something like 6 sites. All but one was much higher. One of the sites was close to the price but VPR's price was still the lowest I could find.

There is a Marketplace section that is quite extensive. I've ordered a couple of gift cards where your cost is 10% less than face value. AMC and other movie tickets are discounted. A ten ticket package costs you $6.55 each. You can use anywhere and anytime except for the first two weeks of a release.

Retail Price: $102.50 Our team shops and compares dozens of online retail sites to find the best price for each selection.

Rewards CashSM: – 37.00 This is the amount applied as partial payment to the retail price.

              You Pay: $65.50 ( 36% Savings )

The VPR website has options for Hotel Rewards, Marketplace Rewards, Cruise Rewards, Condo Rewards, Custom Requests, Travel Services, Getaways, and Value Weeks.

I made a decision to buy the package and I feel that over time my initial investment will be returned. I do know that I will be saving some money and will be taking some better vacations.

In my previous post I forgot to mention that the 2 bedroom condo we're renting through Vacation Priority Rewards' website cost us including the hotel taxes $588.16. I couldn't find any 2 bedrooms units lower than this in the Orlando area from 12/25 to 1/1/11.

                  Very Unhappy

I purchased a software license from Vacation Paradise Rewards in September of 2009. My husband and I have tried to use the program twice without success. We have even called the customer service number and requested reservation assistance to only have our repeated calls ignored. They would take our infomation and tell us they will research the request, rooms, rates, etc and give us a call back within 24 hrs. Never calling back each time.
We recently received our yearly billing statement and found that they are charging us more than the contracted rate. Again, several calls have gone unreturned.
I called the location where we purchased, number listed in our contract 760-251-6000. Left two messages with the gals there. Called a thrid time and I was told that there was a different number (this by a hotel employee). I called this number (702-762-9535) and received what sounded like a personal phone from the message. Called the hotel back and he confirmed it was correct, Michelle is their main contact. Called her back and left a message which has yet to be returned.
The other number 702-762-2935 which I found listed on this thread seems to also be a personal phone for a man named Mike.
From my experience with this company I am very dissapointed and would not suggest anyone do business with them. I would love to negotiate a settlement with them (as suggested by an employee or friend of the company) but how can this happen if I can't get ahold of anyone!?!

I think Vacation Paradise Rewards and Vacation Priority Rewards are different marketing companies but as far as I can tell they offer the same access to online websites run by Destination Rewards (A+ rating BBB) and Reservation Services International plus maybe some other sites. I think these companies are all reputable but you seem to be having problems with your marketing company Vacation Paradise Rewards.

I haven't had a problem getting quotes and making purchases with Vacation Priority Rewards. Your login screen is the same as mine except for the marketing company name difference. What I end up seeing couldn't be more simple. I purchased a 2 bedroom condo for a week starting Christmas day (less than $600 using the Hotel Rewards section) and I've also purchased $1450 in Carnival Cruise Dollars where you can buy them at a 10% discount. This is saving us about $145 on an upcoming cruise we booked with Carnival for 2/10/11. The site has many other gift card and merchandise specials in the marketplace section.

Don't you get weekly emails giving you travel Vacation Getaways and Value Week offerings (about 30 days out or less) condo offerings? There are other sections for Hotel Rewards, Cruise Rewards, Condo Rewards and Custom Requests. Did you fill out a Custom Request form and not get a call back? My company has called me back when I inquired about some cruise requests.

Anyway if I can help you navigate your website you could send me a private message and I will help.

                      Vacation Priority rewards

We are a different marketing company than vacation paradise rewards, and the other ones located in fla. hawaii, branson...etc. But most of us use the same access template to the software from the fullfillment company that has a toll free number to get all the help you need in booking your special requests or just learning how to use the software. As far as the renewal fee with the fullfillment company, its usually 149 per year if your on auto debit, if your billed its usually 189, so you can get set up for auto billing and pay the lesser amount, just call the toll free number on the access website. If you were given our number for help because we have a similar name....the correct number is 7027629435....the number in your post is obviously not correct. The best advice is to call the toll free number on your software access site....they are really helpfull and want you to know how to access the best deals on the site, but they can also do it for you.

Nah, the best advice would be to avoid such a waste of money.

Tony, I wish you would take them up on their offer to allow you to demo their software. You would see that it's not a total waste of money. Maybe it wouldn't be valuable for you but I know for me it does have value.

I'll keep this in mind but during my presentation they said that friends and family could use my userid and password to get the same benefits as me.

As with all timeshare sales from the developer or originator, they are highly overpriced. With software, anything over $ 100 is a total rip off.
