met a fellow who bought two weeks on the internet for 300 each, not bad for this resort. the staff here is very nice, they offered to move us to an ocean front room, actually called this morning to tell us they could move us, but with checking out on Sunday, we decided not to bother with the move.
but this is the first sales presentation we have ever been to where they didn't give up on us. the women kept yelling at my husband to pay attention, to take his sunglasses off, to uncross his arms. she was doing this for us, not for her. they offered breakfast or lunch and she claimed she paid for it out of her pocket and we should pay the tip. One fellow said his salesman started yelling at him. after what we thought was the closer , who offered us every other year and then every third year they brought a woman who started going over our survey again and I said no more. then they brought us to a guy who offered us three weeks in Daytona for $3000. this is after trashing weeks for three hours and telling us that RCI charged $4950 to change each week to points and only 11% of timeshare is still in weeks.
