Is there really anyone who believes figures provided by RCI?

    I mean, without outside auditing.

Walt, how did you get to that page?

I tried to find it thru RCI Weeks login, and haven't been able to so far.

Don't these guys know that many consumers are on to the Orwellian meaning of the corporatespeak term ''enhancement''? Translated into plain English ''enhancement'' means hosing the customer while trying to convince him they are actually giving him something. Frequent flyers dread announcements of ''coming enhancements'' to ff programs because they know they are about to lose some benefit.

It looks like this is a crapshoot arrangement where you have to give them something to see their numbers racket. Who would ever want to do that with the flim-flam they have already pulled in their exchange system?

I've mentioned this before, but max trading power is available for later deposits now (so they say):

"In fact, if you deposit early, 2 years to 9 months in advance of the start date of your week, you will be sure to get 100% of your available Deposit Trading Power"

Also, I have been assured (maybe not the right word), that trading power increases over time, so that as it gets closer to your desired travel date it becomes more likely to get an exchange (not that the ongoing search I have had in place for several months would attest to that).

"Combine it with another Deposit:You can combine your Deposit Credit with another week that you have deposited to increase the trading power of that deposit. With higher Deposit Trading Power you can trade up into an Exchange vacation requiring more trading power than that of your original Deposit, giving you more Exchange options than you had before! "

But I don't see that it says you can combine deposits to get increased trading power (give two weeks deposits for a one week exchange).

It only says you can combine a deposit credit (a leftover from a previous exchange) with a deposit.

              Anyone know about that?

I was told by a little birdie that things that had been asked for were going to be rolled out this year.

                  (I probably said that before.)

                    Anyone know about that?
I noticed that too. I can imagine finding ways to work around that restriction, if it comes to pass. It's also possible that the example isn't fully expansive. We'll just have to see.

With their relatively new All Deposits search, if you select to see all exchanges available to everyone, it might allow you to combine deposits to get stuff any one will not.

Like you say, as with all things RCI, we'll just have to wait and see.

It does seem odd to offer the "All Deposits" search if you can't combine, doesn't it?

Nya nya nya---here's all the stuff you can't have!

I thought at this moment, "All deposits" is all the visible deposits you have. Maybe not.

Unless they are changing what "All Deposits" means Jya-Ning is correct, for now at least it means "All Deposits" that you have not "All Deposits" that everyone has so really what you see in "All Deposits" is the combination of your highest trading deposit and your lowest trading deposit (if there are deposits that your low can see that your high can't)

In reading over this new stuff it does appear that they are going to allow another "all deposits" option where you will be able to see everything available and not just the stuff that you can draw with your deposit. I would say that they are probably going to allow you to combine deposits as well as combining left over trading power but, who knows, until it actually comes about!!

As we have been told all deposits will be eligible to be combined into a trade &, if there is any, leftover value saved for another transaction. It is a key feature.
