  • For SW FL, craigslist has more inventory than the exchange companies, at prices at or below timesharing. I could post dozens, but they are like this, Bonita Resort for $500/week:

    Beautiful waterfront timeshare

If I could trade into it, like we use to, it would cost $900.

I did the same thing for Sarasota and got a buncha choices, places we useta get but can't get any more.

I rented 2 weeks back to back in Bonita resort a few years ago from someone on ebay. I only paid $100 for the 1st week and $200 for the second week.
Haven't been able to find that deal again but that was probably 5 years ago.
I think I just got lucky dealing with an inexperienced ebay seller.

I don't count on always finding those deals but I still look just in case someone else is trying to learn how to "sell" on ebay.

Like I said, there are more on craigslist than RCI.

My best advice, after seeing your great picture with the kids.......vacation as often as you can with them.....they will remember each vacation ( I ask my son what resorts we have gone to when I forget, he is 20), they grow up quick and life is short and has too many twists and turns so if you can squeeze in vacations while the kiddies are young, do it
