I'd have to get out my list to see where we went in 2009/2010, but the one that sticks in my mind is White Point in Nova Scotia. We had to have one of the two best units in the resort. I only saw one other that held a candle to what we had.

The 3br house was bigger than the first one I lived in and had this terrific deck overlooking the water. A fake lighthouse and lots of roses added to the view.

It was chilly in June and there was a very nice fireplace that we used most evenings and all day the day it rained. A man came by every day and refilled the large woodbox. We just had to carry it in the door a few feet.

I could have stayed all summer and been perfectly content.

Hubby and I celebrated the BIG ONE (50 years of wedded bliss?) in
June 2010. I was able to get 6 exchanges into our home resort - so that friends/family/kids were able to join us.
