Couldn't agree more. The last time we were at the RM location it was my wife, 7 yo DD, and myself. We only left the resort for one day to get some basic groceries for about 1/2 of our breakfasts and a couple of our lunches for the week -- the rest we ate at the restaurants on site. Our total bill at the end of the week was less than $700 (and that included a few pool side drinks in the week).

At any AI you would pay at least double that, if not triple for two adults and a child. And the food and variety was much better than a couple of the AIs that we have been to in the past. AIs really only make financial sense if you drink like a fish. (but they can be fun...)

The only upside to AI is knowing your budget (meals and bartabs) the downside who spends $100+ on meals and bartabs EVERYDAY while on vacation?? I mean I like a good meal and a few drinks--but after 3 days of that I need to slow it down...
