After i put up my thread about Exchanging Exchanges(That since has been verified by JLB as being OK by RCI) i got a lot of people that didn't understand the question and PMed me about how RCI never catches onto their renting of their exchanges...And a whole bunch of information about how to do it...People talked about Calling the resorts directly and adding guests vs. using guest certificates, telling the renters that they were only paying the Guest and Exchange fee's, even though it was hundreds of dollars they were getting and even just blatently renting without any concern for RCI, etc....
So it got me wondering...TO ME, its not worth risking my RCI account by renting exchanges...plus i barely have enough TPU's to cover my own vacations...But it appears alot of people on this forum feel differently...
So, How often do you Rent out your RCI Exchanges? And how do you justify it when the rules clearly specify that you can't do it? Since this is something that clearly is openly talked about by members in PM's, does that mean the whole forum supports the idea?
