Bermuda exchange- Got it

I am so excited as I was just playing around with my RCI points account and found a 1BR for June 30 2012 at the St. George's Club Bermuda and confirmed without even talking to my wife. This week includes July 4th so I can't believe it was just sitting there.

This is almost the exact same way I found The residence at the Crane for this December.

I think Gord was giving a "Points" alert with the ex-ops he posted yesterday for those of us who have lost the ability to think 10 months out.

Yep. I saw the Crane last night/this morning as well as the Windjammer. Both the Hilton properties in NY were available. At a better value than Manhattan Club TPUs (don't need any comments from JWC).

I was able to make a couple great reservations last night/today. I just wish I was VIP level with the various Points clubs that allow you to book RCI points inventory at a flat rate vsm using high number of RCI points

Some of them are a good value and many are not....but for these special places, they are worth it...call RCI and weasel the unit number out of them as that will be the unit you will get - it should have an A or B after it unless it is part of the 8 lock-off units...I just returned today (after an EXTENDED stay!) and have the resort map - I can tell/show u where u are.

And I booked the Residence at Crane using BGVC Points for next June after my DDs wedding - MY honeymoon, LOL, I think I will really need the rest!

I'm glad you posted this.....I thought I was the only person who couldn't think ahead! I think of all the places I could go....put an ongoing search in for....but never do. Instead I browze the leftovers looking for something that excites me.

Doing it now - can't commit to Christmas, Winter and Spring school vacations yet! Need to get on the move and do something!!!

You know I used to be able to do it. Now I have a million different windows. WorldMark at 13 months with the exclusion of Dolphins Cove at 12 months. Bluegreen at 11 months. SVC at 8 months. Flex time at 90 days.

I forget about RCI points at 10 months unless my friends shove my nose in it and remind me. Thank goodness one of those friends is Gord.

Thanks Pat I will wait until I get my RCI confirmation mailed to me and see if it has a unit number and If not I will call them and PM you to find out location.

I have the one they give u at check-in but I believe there might also be one online with the unit numbers. RCI has recently removed the unit numbers from confirmations but if u ask them nicely starting your request with "
I know that there is no guarantee but...." you should be able to get the number from them. It is a fixed week, fixed unit resort so you will 95% get the unit that was deposited.
