When does resort get II exchange info

I have two weeks booked at Marriott Harbor Lake. One as and exchange and one as a getaway for a friend. We are adding a OOP night to both weeks with Marriott. (Week starts mid October)

Marriott can find my exchange info.
But, does not have the getaway info.
Needless to say the friends are now sceptical that this "deal" I got them wasn't really true!

Does anyone know if getaways make it to the resort later than exchanges?

Yup....I have had personal experiences with II when using an AC, or purchasing a getaway, the info is sent to the resorts later than when making an exchange.

Right now, I am unable to request a particle unit/floor, etc., at Marriott Sabal Palms in Orlando because they have not been sent my info yet. I booked the unit with an AC. I was told to call back 2 weeks before check-in. BTW, I'll be checking in 10/21.

I called Marriott and gave the exchange confirmation number - it is under someone elses name. (probably the original depositor).

Then I called II - they said the resort would get the information about a week prior to arrival.

I seem to remember this happened before with an exchange into DVC.

Well, we will be leaving MCO on the 21st....probably crossing paths on the airport trolley to/from baggage!!!

Ha...Most likely! I'll be with my mom & DD. So, if you see a threesome that covers 3 different generations, that would be us. Lol
