DAE Europe bonus for early deposits

I just received a mailing from the UK DAE office with details about bonuses for early deposits.

All deposits before December 31 will receive a bonus week for GBP 99.

All deposits before November 25 will also be put into a drawing each fortnight between Oct. 14 and Nov. 25 for a free exchange.

I don't know if there are similar offers at other DAE offices.

Must admit as I've been disappointed with DAE's ability to find weeks in Europe. I've had a ton of requests input in their system via their website for several years in advance. I'm not asking for specific high end locations during prime times, only generic areas during off season months. The only thing they ever come up with is last minute ( I mean check I dates within 2-4 weeks from whenever they call me).

Now that RCI improved their weeks system with Points Lite I've gotten a couple of great Europe trades (including Florence, Italy).

DAE did get us a great Hawaii trade last year, and got the same Maui location for my brother recently so I've not gone completely off them just yet.

I get the impression that we European members get first crack at the better European deposits at DAE on requests, but then again RCI does something of the same thing, putting some deposits in a pool that is only availible to European members, not just at the request stage but online as well. I have been pleased with my European trades at DAE. Just got a notification they were holding a trade for me during Orthodox Easter next year at a 3BR at an English resort I had asked for. Unfortunately I had to turn it down as I had already planned a trip to Poland over that week.

Unlike RCI, once they go online, all members have a crack at DAE deposits. From my obsevation, I think that requests from outside Europe seem to be processed after requests from Europe, then they go online. if you look at the TS4Ms Exchange Opportunities board for DAE, you will see that some quite decent weeks have been popping up for Europe online.
