Edit: Both Westgate properties in Orlando can be PIC'd. Just doublechecked with our contracts office.
Wow!
There are more than 2, BTW.

Oh, now that I searched, and see that you sell timeshares, which means you consulted the sales office, I suggest others do their own confirmation.
Sorry, just more than 20 years of timeshare experience behind me.
But, then, I spose yur useta the stigma.

Note that Wastegate is not mentioned, so it is not a program specifically between them and Wyndham. Because of the very bad blood between Mr. and RCI/Wyndham, I would be dubious that RCI/Wyndham would touch anything having to do with Wastegate without being ordered to by a court of law, which essentially why they allow WVV deposits.
I'm not saying it's not possible, but I would confirm it.
Thanks for watching. It's nice to know I have a guardian angel.
I am done with the topic, but felt a need to comment on the TS salesperson's comments suggesting Wastegate and RCI/Fairham are somehow in bed with each other, a different topic.
Have a nice day.

JLB I actually checked with our Contracts office which doesn't interact with sales other than doing paperwork.
I said both because from what I see in the RCI directory there are two in Orlando. And yes I do sell timeshare with Wyndham, but have stated before that I'm not here to sell any of this site's members anything. To be honest there are some of you that I would never want to have as an owner in the first place.
I see you're a resale owner. That means that you don't see the value in purchasing from the developer. Maybe I should show more respect for your unrivaled intelligence, instead of having a different opinion?
I was talking about my OWN experience and just trying to help by educating someone on an OPTION. I'm not telling anybody they should go buy from wyndham so they can PIC a property. I'm just stating that it's a possibility.
Edit: Btw, Wyndham Worldwide owns RCI. While I'm sure you'll see this as more fuel for you to bash Wyndham and probably myself along with it, the fact remains that Wyndham owners can use the majority of RCI properties (Even Resale) as Wyndham points via the PIC program. It does require a purchase from Wyndham, but that's just the way it is.
A lot of people do this.

Like most of the Old Fogeys here, we started with developer weeks, our first tours being with two of the original Orlando Big 3, Orange Lake and Wastegate.
We've went on a lot of tours and endured condescending attitudes for many years.
It's good that you are exposing yourself to real world opinions about timeshare marketing. Most in your position would shield themselves from it, and, maybe, pop in another Zig Ziglar tape. Oops, tape. That's funny.
Lets meet back here in 20 years and compare notes.
Have a great day, now, go close some peeps. I heard there's folks from Iowa coming in today.

I see you reading this. Shouldn't you be getting ready for the next peep?
BTW, I don't see any insult toward you, just folks from Christmas past.
The rest is just standard direct sales lingo.
Oops, now I see someone else is here.
