Anyone used UKRE?

In trying to diversify my exchange options, I have joined UKRE (United Kingdom Resort Exchange), which is now offering a two year free membership. I am inclined to make a deposit to try them out, especially since I can get a 2 for 1 deposit credit on either of my summer UK weeks.

Has anyone here had any experience in using them? They have been around for many years, but since they only trade UK weeks for UK weeks, many in the US have probably not had occaision to.

UKRE also trade in weeks outside of the UK. They have good access to USA through their trading partners and on the article in www.timeshareweekly.com they are promoting weeks in Spain for £50 with no other costs or the requirement of a week to deposit. On the website theres a new initiative called operation PBT to stop scam companies. The achiels heel in this is that it relies upon timeshare owners being prepared to actively get involved.
