I can't do an ongoing search without paying for it. Did RCI take your money?

Also, if your talking about what I posted, that was in points - I don't know if it was also in weeks.

yes, I was talking about what you posted - I thought it may be points - but that just prompts me to get this search in NOW since the weeks stuff should be coming soon.

It never asks me for money - but doesn't confirm anything either - when I look at my account at On Going Searches - nothing showing either.

I'm wondering what do others see if they his the Continue button.

        1. Clicked OnGoing Search
        2. Picked my week to use
        3. Under Destination I chose Resort ID selections and put in: DV01, DV02, etc & the desired check-in dates
        4. Accommodations: Filled in my desired options.
        5. Clicked Continue and it brings me to the regular "search for a vacation page"??????

I also added in step 3 above the region along with the resort ids - same outcome - after continue goes to search a vacation page.

What am I missing? RCI closed now. Live Chat person was no help.
Curious, did you get your match?

"Curious, did you get your match?"

NOT the evening to ask me that question!!!!!!

Just a few hours ago I received a match confirmation from RCI for SSR for the week I want. (I just put in the search a few days ago - finally found out what my problem was trying to get it into RCI). Compatibility View issue with the IE I am running.

Well, I noticed yesterday that II was having a buy a getaway get an AC (I know probably a useless AC) but I'm a sucker and went for it because Marriotts were going for only $417 for a 2 bedroom!!!! It truly was a bargain. So, I grabbed two 2BRs for us and another family.

After all this.....I'm going to have to release the SSR because I just purchased that exchange not even 12 hours before!

Yes, aggravated with myself - but still happy with the bargain and 2 ACs that I got from II.

Well, at least you know how to do a search now and you saw that it works .

Which Marriott are you staying at?
I really like the Marriotts in Orlando.
A great deal for those of us who can trade in cheaply.

I'm trying to get a match for March 2014 and getting nada. I did put in specific WDW resorts, but they keep matching me to anything in the area (and I even got one match for Mazatlan, Mexico -- so weird). I hope I've set it up correctly and it is just a matter of no availability.

I've got 52 TPU and I'm wondering if that is not enough for DVC exchange...

                Here's hoping for the best!

Oh, in the future, you can avoid those other matches by not entering anything in the area field. Don't put a city or state or anything. Just enter the DVC codes. Then, you'll only get matches for those specific resorts.

A lot of people are getting matches for March right now. You may get it soon. 60 is the highest TPU, so I would think 52 would at least get a one bedroom.

You may be a bit low for that time of year.
Spring Break & Easter Break are commanding big TPU's.
                    Up to 58 in Orlando.
Might be why you haven't seen a match yet.
The DVC units have been deposited for March but are still be deposited so don't give up yet.
RCI is doing some adjusting of the values for these peak times.

Thanks! I should be able to modify this search to do just that.

Yikes. I had already combined several deposits and I can't free up another 6 TPU until darn Wyndham Patriot's Place verifies our pending deposits for 2014. It has been deposited a week already and it is still not verified. Does it usually take a resort this long to verify your maintenance dues are paid in full and your week is your week? Arg.....

Are any people reporting DVC matches for mid-March? If so, do you guys know the approximate TPU required for 2BR? And 1BR?
If I want to get closer to 60 TPU total, that's yet another combination fee to add another deposit. Blech. Really need to consider becoming RCI Platinum....

I'm so tempted to just give up and take something at Bonnet Creek for 35 or 39 in our timeframe. LOL
But it would be nice to use these RCI weeks to trade into DVC, at least until I get my member info from DVC for my newly purchased contract!

Was just checking the bonnet creek TPU's for march and they are in the 30s so I think you are probably good with 52 for at least a 1 bedroom in DVC but fingers crossed for a 2 bedroom.

I thought I read that March was commanding in the mid 40's for a 1 BR. However like others have said, most of the March Bulk deposit has happened already. Last week we even started seeing first week of April. But you may still be able to catch some end of march dates in the next deposit, or possibly some releases/cancellations.

Nothing is set in stone. Numbers can and do change from week to week.
