Today I noticed what seemed like a mini-bulk deposit. Is that what that is or is it a bunch of people decided to cancel their trips at the same time (since the dates are not further from the last bulk deposit)? Anyone know?

Well, I'm noticiing that some last minute deposits seem to be priced higher (cost more points), than those for further out. I'm wondering if those are actually last minute deposits or last minute RCI cancellations. Another thing I noticed is that holiday weeks are priced higher. Other than that, I'm still trying to figure out the "pricing" of RCI DVC exchanges.Comment

As for holidays there is a premium for those dates.
Many times double a regular week and more.
And trying to figure out pricing is like trying to hit a moving target.
They play with the values.
When they first started it was 25 TPU's for pretty much everything.
Then they jacked up the TPU's and now they seem to have seasonal variations.
I don't think anything is set in stone with DVC & RCI.
There is more inventory being loaded into RCI points than weeks lately if you have access to points.
Or maybe the weeks are being snagged by ongoing searches. Not sure.

OP is using the Bluegreen portal, not Weeks. In mini-system portals, there are seasonal differences, but no last-minute discounts. This is similar to how Points works. But, in Weeks, there have been plenty of sightings here and OT for last-minute DVC units at a nice TPU discount.RCI is still trying to get the max they can get for last minute deposits or cancellations.
