  • Another interesting piece of info from Candid Over Yonder

    http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28205

I know some previous posts about this individual and his knowledge sparked some interest. What he's outlined there, if on target, could prove useful. Some of you that have owned for gazillions of years probably know this already like the back of your hand, but not all of us do

    Thanks....very interesting.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I had the same thought! But I don't know how current that list is, and development in LV in recent years has been pretty aggressive...

          Excellent !!!!!!!
This should be included the the Timesharing 101 Primer !
I have cut & pasted it and put it in my personal documents file as I am skeptical of it being allowed a long shelf life "OY".
Thanks for posting it. It is invaluable.

For every rule, or set of rules, I guess there are exceptions. What he/she said are good guidelines for newbies, but are not etched in stone on a mountain.

We own a week on his pink list and IG has always said it sees everything available. We owned weeks that would not be on his pink list and they always saw much less.

Exactly. Generalizations can be an overall guideline but when you get down to specific resorts the picture can be completely different. No matter what the overall inventory situation in, say, Orlando the Marriotts, DVC and other top resorts aren't sitting out there with 100's or even 10 units begging to be used. But there certainly may be 100's or more of the terribly over developed Westgates that indeed are surplus in a given week. If you are willing to take a lesser unit things are great - if you want what you want the picture changes. Same with Williamsburg, Las Vegas, Branson, etc.
