This is what I have planned so far;
November 2013- Tradewinds Cruise Club BVI Plus 3 nights Marriott Hotel St. Thomas.
December 2013- Renaissance Carombola St, Croix one week
January 2014 - At least 1 week Aruba still planning
February 2014- Residence at the Crane Barbados.
February 2014- Maybe 1 week Aruba if we don't go in January.
March 2014- San Juan PR
April 2014- Back to Weston Florida 2 weeks for annual Family vacation
May 2014- Hilton West 57th Street
December 2014/Jan 2015. 3 consecutive timeshare weeks in Hawaii, Sands Of Kahana Maui, Kona Coast resort Hawaii and Lawaii Beach Resort Kauai then a couple of days in Hotel Waikiki Beach.
OH so I think timesharing is still working for us!!!!!LARRY

Geez Larry, what the heck are you doing between May and December? Working to pay for all those vacations?

I am still drinking the Kool Aid and still happy.
Love those dangling carrots!
We use our timeshares and are very happy still able to go every year but have one Marriott DC exchange booked this week to the MOC for week 13. I finally caved in so will have to skip the year after but have enough points left for a trip to Kauai or somewhere else.
Have you decided when to go to Hawaii and to what island or more than one? I called Chris to bring it to her attention as she mentioned 2015. It would be nice to meet again.
By the way, the first whale was spotted yesterday early in October and they are there until about May but February and March are the best months for whale watching and you can have the windows open day and night so hear the waves. I am thrilled for you and your travel buddies.

I added one more carrot. RCI had a $199 sale at the same time that Southwest had a $49 each way sale. The stars were all aligned so I just couldn't help myself. I'll be going to the Grandview in Las Vegas in January with a whole passel of friends. Life is good.

I also sell a few weeks every year also at a nice profit and have never lost a dime on any timeshare purchase. I also have a part time travel business but don't do too much as it might interefere with all the fun I am having at great timeshare destinations and resorts.
I hope and believe I can make it work for me for at least 25 years too.

I would definitely pick Grandview and get a two bedroom. The price is the same, and you might find someone who wants to join you. They are two completely separate one bedroom units with a common foyer. Very nicely appointed and you can walk next door to Southpoint Casino, which has restaurants, movie theatres, and even a bowling alley I think.
I have never stayed at Tahiti Village, but this will be my third stay at Grandview. I just read the Tahiti Village reviews. It sounds like a nice place. I have eaten at the Denny's onsite, so I know where it is.Last edited by catwgirl; 10-09-2013, 12:16 AM.

I often marvel at Joan and her full time timesharing.
You can't say it's not working for her, she's living proof.
