I didn't see that, but I am a platinum member and when I deposited later than 271 days out they restored me to full trading power as one of the platinum benefits.

Very interesting. You can pay if you forget to deposit. I haven't seen that as an option yet. I might not with a platinum account. Could be helpful but at what cost?

It's a Platinum Member perk. You would have to pay for Platinum first. Or at least that is how it appears to me.

If you are going to pay $69 to restore power, you might as well join platinum. I didn't have to pay.

I am seeing that because I am a platinum member, maybe, I think.

When did you use the restore feature Jackie? Maybe it was a perk of platinum and they are now charging ?

                  I am not platinum...

It is a perk of platinum. Now the regular people can purchase it ... See the last line of what I posted.
I think if you had continued with the transaction you started, the fee would have been waived.

It just shows how TPUs are all smoke and mirrors

Maybe. I NEVER give them that week anymore. My own little sob story about TPU lite. I rent the unit for ~ 30% more than MF and have for at least 5 years now. It is a great example for what doesn't work anymore though.

I only found it on the Platinum Benefits page. Are you seeing it elsewhere?

I just did it in December. I had a week expiring in June and they restored me to full power, which was nice since it is a high TPU week. There was no option, they just did it. The trading calculator told me the lower number but upon deposit the whole amount was restored.

Platinum gets it for the first three months (so, more than six months prior to deposit) but have to pay for it closer in. From the Platinum perks description page:

We want you to have more time to deposit! Ordinarily, Weeks deposits keep their full Deposit Trading Power when made at least nine months ahead of time. RCI Platinum members can deposit as close as six months prior to the start date of their Week and automatically receive full Deposit Trading Power.
This is a nice thing if you are a "landlord", as it gives you some other options if for some reason you had trouble moving a week.

I just tried to deposit a Week 10, 2016, and it asked if I wanted to restore trading power. $69.

It would not Copy and Paste.
