  • Interval International Unit-Size Upgrade Fee?

I took a brief look at II this morning and I saw this:

    Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch
    HYS
    Resort Details & Photos
    Jan 06 2017 - Jan 13 2017
    2 5 5

    Unit-Size Upgrade
    + $99.00
    Exchange

    I was searching with a 1BR.

I have not had any time to play in either of the big 2 exchange companies for a while. Is this the new thing for II?

My last exchange was into a 3 br. from a 2 br. and there was no such fee. Perhaps it's just a fee for Hyatt, like the old DVC charge for exchanging in. On the other hand it may be new because of the II gold point system roll out.

Yes. They instituted this wonderful change a few months ago.
On all accounts. Even Marriott to Marriott.

      Everyone is soooo happy. Not

Yeah I saw it last night.
Going from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom in a lesser resort.
            I don't think so.

And of course no credit if you go from a 2 bedroom to a studio. WTF?
I'm glad all my units I give to II are 2 bedrooms but I feel bad for the lock off people.
This really sucks. I guess I'll just book two 2 bedroom units if I need them.
That way we get way more space for just a little more money.
Oh the fun fees never end.
