Tuesday night out of nowhere a unit popped up in Kona at the same resort, the same week that we already have a 2 bdr unit reserved this coming March. I've had an ongoing search in weeks for 6 months with no hits. I got up early and checked the standard points reservation search the first day it was searchable, no dice. I went back to the standard points search for a couple of days after that to see if maybe someone cancelled something but no such luck. Tuseday night for no reason except boredom, I checked standard points again and there it was. Now nobody has to sleep on the sofa bed!
I went over to weeks and took Hawaii out of my search and put in a search for Ireland from Memorial Day 2008 into September 2008 and guess what, it let me search longer than 2 years out (don't tell anyone
). This morning, 8/17/2006, I had a 2 bdr at Fitzpatrick Castle on hold for 8/16/2008. So I was able to make a trade, 1 year, 364 days and 17 hours from the check-in date, is that a record or what?!?!
