Ok, I am up to a two bedroom for 4/20 checkin, it reappeared this morning

AND I checked our 2005 calendar, I was right, we were off for the entire Passover holiday, plus a long Easter weekend in March. Pays to be in a predominantly Jewish school district sometimes... Official school calendar d/n get published til March, but I will be shocked if we don't get the whole week.

    Anyone joining us?

Lawren, I hope you are not too much in knots about this given your RCI-less future.. or are you rethinking? Remember this is just one banking, with 1 in 4 blocking you until 2012 (or 2013?). At any rate, thank you for posting it here, I saw it here and probably would've missed the sighting otw as I don't really check OY much anymore. I did post a thank you to Cat.

I was able to see 2/17 earlier this am. My only week left is tied up with another HI week I probably won't keep so I can't check again just yet.

While my HAMLET is mostly Jewish the school calendar tends to go with the BOCES NY calendar. The teachers won't give up Presidents week so we end up splitting the time for the spring holy days.

HOWEVER there were a lot of VERY unhappy parents last year <and a lot of kids pulled from school over one week or the other> so your guess is as good as mine on what they'll do for 2008.

This one bothers me a bit. You know I just GCM... by the time I got 2007 Cape Cod in the spacebank the prime weeks would be gone <as most 2 BDRMS already seem to be>.

      CONGRATS on the upgrade!

and our thanks to CAT too because I didn't see them 2 days ago when I looked before I found South Beach.

Thanks to you both for your comments. Before I left town this morning I put a 2 bedroom on hold for March 15 check in. I really, really LOVE getting out of the ND winter and going somewhere warm like that.

Now, the big problem..........checking on airfare.

BTW, the little bit or reading I managed to do before I left made me feel like there were a LOT of extra tack on charges for this resort. Any comments pro or con about that?

We stayed at a one bedroom and were very disciplined about turning OFF the a/c when we went out each day. Our energy charge was around $45 for the week.

Other than that I don't recall any additional charges.

We paid around $60 U.S. in Feb. for a 1 bdr.

this is one resort where the extra charges, whatever they may be, are worth it to me!!

Well, then, this must be one heck of a resort.

Thanks to you both for your posts. I guess that amount is bearable, huh? But I thought I had read something about an additional $70 for the stay plus the a/c costs? That is going to add up.

However, as per Glitter's comment, maybe it is all worth it for this resort.

Maybe I should just go for it and comfirm it, rather than just trying to decide.

                    Cindi,

                    CONFIRM, CONFIRM, CONFIRM!

My DH is actually allowing DS to miss 3 days of school so we can go back. That NEVER happens around here.

Our favorite exchange so far and I'm dancing around the house in anticipation of our return.

                      OH NO!!!

I forgot about the time difference. I just now got off the phone with RCI and they are closed!!

Is there any chance it will still be on hold tomorrow??
