Seems that a good exchange for this Easter break week is not only difficult for RCI members but Interval members are whining about it too.

I'll have to pull up the "Travel Plans 2007" thread, but I clearly remeber seeing a LOT of us traveling to very nice places that first week in April.

I am feeling more and more relieved about snatching that HGVC South Beach when I saw it, instead of stubbornly sticking it out.

I don't know if week 13 is ALWAYS like this but with the greater NY area schools closed for break it certainly put more of a crunch on all the warm beach areas.

I do think it's the moving Easter week that drives the demand, though week 13 in warm beachy places is probably always a tough trade. I'm glad you aren't showing any signs of remorse over 'settling' for SoBe...

In 2008, I think Easter falls the week prior, still always a tough trade in South Fl and Caribbean, and an even better shot at good snow for skiiers. But those of us who get Passover week off (w/o 4/20/08) should have some excellent choices, since that is really 'shoulder' season
