    Rec yesterday.

    I received this yesterday and filled it out using II.

    I am wondering if it is targeted or just shotgun.

    I currently have nothing in the bank with RCI as I have used up my last deposit in Dec 06.

      I too am wondering.

      I used my last deposit back in September or so. My membership expires Mar 2008 but I will probably cancel after my England exchange in August 2007.

      I haven't been seeing anything in their spacebank to make me change my mind and a survey of who else other people are using isn't likely to change that. JMHO.

        I don't think it's targeted at those with dwindling deposits/activity; I got one too and my account has been quite active...

          I haven't checked my email yet, but I sure would love to have them ask

          how satisfied are we that our deposits are rented out to the general public for pennies .... or

          how satisfied are we that guides often "make mistakes" which lead to unasked for exchange matches or deposits just to increase their quota....

          .or how about, how satisfied are we that when we call RCI we are told that Mugswamp in Backstich, KY is the ONLY match available for our 2 year-ahead deposited red 2 BR caribbean week.

          Surveys keep survey companies in business, they do nothing to help improve customer relationships, especially if the company is only seeking ways to "improve" their own methods to get more dollars for less service.

          RCI, if you sent us a survey, here's my short answer: blah, blah, blah, blah.

            Upon re-reading the questions asked, the thought I have is this: RCI is seeking likely exchange companies to buy out.....they want the most likely ones that will offer them the "happiest" or "unhappiest" group of members....

              and my thought was they want fodder for the lawsuit.". We aren't getting the deposits because our members are depositing the very best weeks with XYZ instead".

                Hmmm, if I get one, maybe I will lie to them....oh, um, er,"make a mistake" ....that's it..."mistakes were made".

                  Actually my thought is not good; it is paranoid but that doesn't mean it is not true. I do not respond to any of these e-mails from RCI.

                  Mistakes were made. Yeah mudweeks for your Casa del mar week. Or was it your mistake for giving them that week in the first place? Don't see many of those anymore and I'm sure I don't see your week. Just like you won't be seeing my Cape Cod week

                    I didn't get the survey, but, my RCI account is part of my Fairfield (oh yeh, my Wyndham) ownership and I am locked in to using RCI. Maybe they didn't send it to us Fairfield owners as we don't have the choice of keeping our RCI accounts or not!!

                        My membership expired the end of February, and they didn't even care enough to call to see if I wanted to renew, let send me a survey to ask my opinion. You lookin' here Madge?

                          Got it and deleted it. My membership is active and I do get nice trades for my Cape Cod summer week. I also belong to II.

                          Don't like RCI online system search range setup as much as II that is more user friendly. I want my RCI deposits to go to an exchanger not a rental pool and would leave RCI for that reason.

                          Each company has it's pros and cons. RCI has better trades looking 12 or more months out with II it's much shorter about 6-8 months out. Hawaii (eg).

                            Actually, RCI did try to buy DAE a year or two ago, but the owners said they had absolutely no interest in selling. Why give up your opportunity to clean up when RCI implodes from its current policies?
