OK, I'll buy that - I don't have deep knowledge in the various systems. I did know there was some funky 'visible' and 'invisible' deal with Fairfield and that some require owners to go thru RCI only.
But, in Bluegreen, I tell the BG rep what week I want "to book for deposit to RCI" and if it's available, I can have it. Then I call RCI to deposit. This gives me control over how many points I use and what trading power I need for what I want out of RCI. It's between me and Bluegreen.
I usually book a cheapo Big Cedar January studio because it uses very few points and has good enuf trading power for me. Others will try hard to get a summer Big Cedar cabin or Lodge Alley in Charleston to up the trading power. Either way, it's up to me. I don't foresee Bluegreen throwing in completely with RCI. On customer service alone, they would get significant complaints. Far better the owner control the deposit and deal with RCI for fulfillment.
