      It can be EXTREMELY frustrating to get an uninformed or rude CS rep. At least with II & RCI, you can usually just get someone else by calling back.

      There are a couple of really interesting aspects about this particular VG's comments, though. It sounds like she thought you had used eBay to rent a week or an II exchange, rather than understanding that you had purchased a week. This might mean that even rank-and-file II VGs are being told to watch out for rented exchanges.

      Also, there's been discussion here about whether the general public knows they can buy timeshares on eBay. This seems to be a person who works in the timeshare industry and has trouble understanding that timeshares are sold on eBay, so that suggests most people don't know about using eBay for buying timeshares.

        I believe one of the biggest issues for RCI is staff turnover. It seems like I get a different rep every time, and they always seem to be in a training mode. I doubt that many of the reps really have the knowledge to help members. I know I have called a number of times, and the reps need to put me on hold to answer basic questions.
