2 II Questions

I am brand new to II, just got my member number today. Anyhow, I have 2 questions:

1. What happens if I cancel an exchange? Do I lose that fee but can still use the week for another exchange? We want to make plans, but there is a possibility we may be moving out of the country so that could mess things up.

2. When will AC's show up in my account? I just deposited today and they said I get an email? How long does this usually take? Do they show up on the same tab as my exchanges on the website?

If you cancel an exchange with II you will get your week back but lose Money. I know if it is in the last 60 days you do lose all of your exchange fee. If it is over 60 days I believe it is half.

1. With II, as Frank said you lose your whole exchange fee - this is different then RCI which gives you back a portion of that fee.
You will be given a replacement week that is good for one year from the time you cancel.
So if you have an exchange for January 2008 and you realize next month you can't use it.....if you cancel it NOW - you would have until May 2008 to use the week.
If you cancel 63 days before check-in in November 2007, you would have until November 2008....so you are penalized for canceling early.
II does sell insurance for exchanges but I don't believe 'moving out of the country' would be a legitimate reason to cancel an exchange.

2. usually you see the AC hit your account 3-4 days after deposit....if it is more then 5 days, call II and ask for it again. Yes, they will be listed with your ownerships on the exchange page.

Thank you very much for the help. It was a nightmare getting my II account set up so far, and I am hoping my AC's show up without having to make a ton of calls again to them!

It shouldn't be a ton of calls, one usually does it.
