Look first then deposit

Have you used look first and then when you found something, deposit your week to trade. How did it work?

I've done it a couple times with Marriott week psuedo deposits to see if one week or another might be a stronger trader.

My experience has been that I still only see what someone doesn't want. So, if one wants to see if lower demand weeks are available, it's a good approach. If wants to trade for prime week, one has to do an on-going request in one form or another.

I did this with my last Interval Exchange. I was looking to see what was available with a week that was available for deposit. I saw something that we wanted (2 bedroom SanDiego) and called the VC while on line. He held the week for me until I could get the confirmation number from my resort to make the deposit.

It was a little hectic, but well worth it.
