    I Need Help With a II A/C Tomorrow Morning

    Hello,

    I booked a unit at Marriott's Cypress Harbour for 8/2 thru 8/9 this morning. While searching for things to do in Orlando I see there is a space shuttle launch scheduled for 8/9. So I want to change the check-in date. That way I will be there a few days past the scheduled launch in case the launch is delayed.

    Here is where I need some help. I don't want to release the week I have booked unless I know there is a week with a later check-in date available. So is there someone that has an A/C and willing to spend some time looking for a unit with a check-in of 8/4, 8/5, or 8/6 tomorrow morning?

    Unfortunately I don't have a week to help you but in the past I was successful in changing dates before releasing the old one by calling II directly. The agent was able to do it for me. If the first agent can't, hang up and call back. Good luck.

      I taled to 3 VC last night they all said I would have to risk releasing the week first. Maybe I will try another one this morning.

          I am using a friends account right now but he doesn't have an A/C to search with. But it does see the 9th. Are using an A/C?

          I when I talked to a A/C last night they said the regular week deposited might not see what the A/C sees. They didn't know why other then to say it is the formula that is used to determine the trading power.

            Mike.....Call II at 9 this morning, as soon as they open, and tell them your predicament. Perhaps they can tell you if the dates you are looking for are available. If so, they can make the change for you, without you releasing the week.

              II treats A/C differently then regular weeks when it come to retrades. With an A/C you have 24 hours to make a retrade or release with no fee. After that the exchange fee is the same as what it cost to get the resort originally with the A/C. For me it cost $336.00 to get the Marriott's Cypress Harbor unit. So it would cost me another $336.00 to retrade after the 24 hour period if a unit become available.

              I am going to be watching the Internet this afternoon.
