Exchanges so far this year
As I always see a few posts about trade tests, I thought I might take a moment to post what exchanges we have made through the first half of this year for anyone interested to see. I'm not sure that only my experience will be helpful to a lot of people but if everyone begins to post what they are doing with their units and what exchanges they've made perhaps as a group we can build something of a data base of exchanges to give each other idea's of what exchange power different resorts/regions might have.
So far this year this is what we've done.

Accommodation Certificate (from Suites at Polo Towers week 36 deposited one year in advance)

*This AC was given to a co-worker to use for their one year aniversary trip. While our PT's units receive AC's we own enough units that we generally don't use them. Therefore I offer them up to friends or co-workers to use.
** This was a Flexchange period exchange. The AC would not pull Big Bear Lake, CA outside the flexchange period but saw plenty of units for this time frame once inside the Flexchange period. While this is a phase I unit we also could see phase II units and Worldmark units.

* We deposited our GTO unit becuase when we purchased it resale, we were told it was an EOY unit. It was instead an EY deed. So I had an extra week in Branson for '07 that I didn't need. There is not a regional block and since we travel off season (red time but still shoulder season in Banson) we were able to trade up. Branson is reasonably well (over) developed and trading up doesn't seem to be much of a problem with the searches I've done.

I have one or two more exchanges for consideration this year.
One is a Suites at Polo Towers unit I have on deposit attempting to get into Key West the first two weeks of December of 2008.
The second is a AC from a Villa's at Polo Towers deposit that another co-worker might use to take his family to Orlando during a school break period the 3rd week of October. Presently I see 4 pages of options available for his family's usage if they decide to take up the offer.
