Best way to handle guests?

I have my eye on a Marriott exchange...just waiting for it to hit flexchange. I'd only use it for a long weekend. I'd like to offer the remainder of the week to good friends. How do I handle that? Can you just add them as guests with the resort? Or should I just get extra keys/parking passes and leave it with them(my friends) on my scheduled departure date. We would not be staying at the same time. I know when we stayed at FSA they asked if we would be having guests-is Marriott the same way? It's NCV-if that makes any difference.

We had friends stay with us at the MDSV-I a few times. Include their names on your confirmation sheet. They can check in on their own and get the key to their lock-off or the unit you want them to occupy.

When you check out earlier, give them the key to your unit if you trust them and know them well enough so they can use the whole condo. Ask them to check both of you out when they leave.

The Marriott has both credit cards on file so will take care of the charges if there are any.

PS. Our friends had their own parking pass too, I remember.

PPS. Tracy, I read now that you are writing about an exchange. I have no idea how it works with an exchange. I hope that someone else will let you know.

We have guests on our exchange, but we all stay the entire time, arriving and leaving together.

If it was like you are planning, and you trust them, we would just turn the keys over to them and tell them what they have to do when they check out.
