Where should I go with my SFX weeks

I'm so afraid of Mexico after getting sick both times I have been there. I'm thinking also maybe New Mexico. However, all of these places, I have no way of telling how much availability SFX has, and I don't think I can make a request until 12 months out.

Annmarie Mexico is Hot, Going to Cancun in Apr. You should consider it and that will be a way to use your weeks. You can take 2 weeks back to back.

I don't think I can make a request until 12 months out.

I'm a platinum member. I can request up to 18 months in advance, but they say that they don't start filling those requests until about a year before the requested date. I try to request early so I'm first in line.

SFX....Sell-Off List

Well, I had a feeling this was going to happen.
My 2 RCI weeks pulled 2 HHI exchanges for me.
One for February, and one for July 2008.

SFX did not come through with either request.

Now that my 3 SFX weeks are still sitting there, I need to use them.
I can travel February vacation 2009, Easter vacation 2009 and from
6/19/09 up until 6/29/09 when my SFX weeks will expire.

I can only travel when the kids are out of school.

If I have to use them somewhere other than the East coast
(because it appears the east coast exchanges are limited),
where should I go. I would rather not travel more than 4 hours
from NY by plane if I am only going for 1 week at a time.

We do not want skiing, hiking or water stuff.

Texas, Tennassee, New Mexico would be good, but I am not
sure of the availability, time it takes to get there, and the weather.

I would also take anything in the New England area for August 2008,
but that is probably not going to happen
because of the limited availability for that area.

Any suggestions?
Otherwise I will loose my weeks.

The main problem is it is really hard to get good exchanges
anywhere with RCI or II or other exchanges companies simply
because you can only travel when the kids are out of school.

The best way to see what was/is available
is to study the weekly SFX.... Sell-Off List

You can search the previous SFX Exchange Ops
Sell-Off List here to see what has been available
and to get an idea of what resorts and locations
SFX serves.

From what I can see - most of the resorts are
on the west coast but I have noticed a few for
Orlando Floida (an easy drive or flight from NY)

Thanks for the suggestion to study the sell-off list. What are you saying, that the sell-off list can give me an idea where exchanges are available? I never really looked at the sell-off list, but I assumed that it was extra inventory that was not used.
