  • Trading power for Orlando, Westgate Town Center 2nd week in January 2/2 unit

We're thinking about joining an exchange company, probably interval international and need more info. on trading power. I called them directly and basically was told, we must join first and once the info. on our unit is "in the computer" we can see what we can get. The one year fee is $84 and the exchange fee is $139 in the USA. We need more info. before spending this amount of money. Any help would be appreciated. As stated before the unit is 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, and is the 2nd week in January at Westgate Town Center in Orlando, FL.

Is Interval International the best exchange company for this unit?
Would we have decent trading power?

    Thanks in advance!!!

January is THE lowest demand time of the year in Orlando (of course still packed by standards of coastal and other seasonal resorts). With the tremendous supply and relatively low demand for January use the trade value will not be that good. It may be about what you'd see for a non-holiday spring /fall week at a seasonal resort - OK but not a top draw. Nothing like the weeks over Christmas/ New Years or Presidents week later in February would have.

Well, September might be worse, but otherwise John is spot-on.
