I took a quick look last night and looked at the Maine Coast, NH central, Williamsburg and Orlando and all the rating symbols I saw were the Premier symbols - not a single select/silver symbol.

They have now added descriptions to the ratings......

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Pineapples are a symbol of hospitality. Maybe that's the interpretation we're meant to use?

Sorry but I don't like the new system. I used to tell my non-timeshare friends about how many five star or gold crown timeshare resorts that I owned and boy were they impressed. Now I have to tell them I own golden pineapples and silver laurels?????? What's that all about ????

I also occassionaly sell timeshare like many others on this board (resale of course) and telling someone they are buying into a five star resort always helped get them to buy.

It's all about snob appeal and golden pineapples just don't make it in anybody's book!!!!

You are right there, Larry. Pineapples don't convey quite the same image or snob appeal quotient as gold crowns or 5 stars. I wonder whose brilliant idea those new rating symbols were. Some overpaid exec at II fresh out of business school?

I know that you guys are going to flame me for this, but I think the new symbols are much prettier than the old ones. I kinda like them. The way they look, at any rate.

I'm with you Ang...I like the way they look also.

You could still call them anything you like...just the symbol has changed.
