Alright who wants to take the lead on VRIety

my understanding is the system is up and functional for in-system exchanges VRI/ORE.

I have enough on my plate right now that I can't get immersed in a new system, even though I own a VRI resort and I am curious about it.

Anyone feel like investigating and filling in the membership? Links, availability, on-line or call in,, if we call in where ? That kind of stuff.

I will work with Frank & Ken to get an ex-op forum going for it as well.

Angela I appreciate the offer but we really have enough going on. You with II DAE me with RCI, TPI and I occasionlly check Platinum for updates.

I know many of our members own VRI/ORE resorts and it would be best if someone with a vested interest would pick this up.

I had offered to do the ORE exchange when it was still ORE. I could do the VRIety, but unfortunately, there is no online searching yet, so it won't be possible until the system comes online. I believe they said it will be about a year before they have an online system up and running. I'll know when it's ready, and can let you know, Lauren. I'll be happy to do it once it's up.

Correct - it's a real issue for me as a MROP owner because I used to search the old ORE site almost daily. I had a few sightings and asked if TS4Ms wanted a separate site for the sightings. Now it's on hold until the new system comes online.

By the way, the wording for the exchange priority in the new system is very strange. It sounds as though your place in line is not as important as how far in advance of your week you deposit it. (Different topic - I can start a new post...) Another odd thing - I tend to post about MROP (multi-resort owners plan) over at TUG because not many people here seem to own MROP. I placed the same post on 3/22 here and on TUG, and the threads there are quite active. Not sure why, other than maybe a dearth of TS4Mers owning MROP.

Edie, I do recall your offer. I'm not sure if it is a lack of ownership in ORE that caused that to die down. I do know that many of us own VRI.

Another YEAR before on-line availability?

I guess it's what's the hurry over there. VRI only bought ORE over 20 months ago.

There is now a link to VRI*ety resorts. Several new resorts are showing including Brewster Green, Capistrano Surfside Inn, Beach Club I (Fort Myers), and Sunburst Resort (Steamboat Springs).
