  • Help with choosing where to go next.

OK, so I am still trying to figure out where I can travel, using my SFX banked weeks. It will have to be President's week of 2009 since the weeks expire in June. Can anyone suggest where there would be a lot of availability with SFX, and an area that also has fairly reasonable airfares to get to?

The good news is Presidents week is big here in the northeast but no so much so everywhere else in the country.

San Francisco and Southern California might be places with decent inventory. The weather will certainly be better than here air is relatively reasonable and non-stop. and there is plenty to do. Of course it can rain then, it is winter.

Do you already have plans for the April spring break?

Hi Lawren. We have Santa Fe booked for the April break. I just put in a search with SFX for all of CA, Washington or all of Florida. I don;t know how much inventory they have in Florida, but it's worth a try.

I responded on your TUG thread - but I think FL and CA would be your best bet - also Phoenix AZ..... and as I recall, u didn't want Mexico, right????
Because those Grand Mayan resorts are spectacular!

        are u up for goulash?

Hi Pat. The main reason I do not want Mexico is because of the airfare. I pretty much asked for anywhere in CA, FL and parts of AZ. I would even consider Texas, but there does not appear to be any inventory in Texas.

Santa Fe for spring break. I'm jealous! Haven't been in that area since 1988.

Yes, I understand about Mx - and are u traveling with children and what age? - because Las Vegas could also be a great home base for exploring the area - grand canyon, bryce canyon, valley of fire, red rock canyon, a day of skiing - activities around Lake Mead - an overnight trip to the LA area ......lots of day trips from that area and there are many nice TS resorts there.

Hi Frank. My NO week I got with RCI. I still have 2 SFX weeks. Does SFX get much inventory in NO? I could still try to get the Quarter House through SFX, and cancel my RCI one I guess.
