All of a sudden two bonus weeks appeared on my page with II. I called and they said they were deposited by our home timeshare. OK, so when I tried to make a reservation for the 2008 bonus week they said you couldn't make a reservation until it was 90 days out from the day of the reservation. Question - can I just deposit this week with II now or do I have to have a reservation first? Am I looked into the same time frame as my regular weeks? Are these bonus weeks treated like my regular weeks where if I don't use them they will stay deposited for a couple of years? Why would I have gotten these bonus weeks? New to this whole thing!

I think they mean you must make an exchange within 90 days of the occupancy for that exchange. II has so many varieties of bonus weeks/accomodation certificates that you need to know the exact terms of each one. If this was a contractual bonus week, there may be information about it in your original resort purchase paperwork. The fee for booking a week also varies, so you should also determine what that fee is for your bonus weeks.

Sounds like the home resort will deposit HOA owned weeks (take backs-repos.) for you if you pick up the fees. Not exactly a great bonus as they are probably not the best of trading weeks.
