  • New exchange company option

MyResortNetwork.com is getting into the exchange business. I just received their newsletter earlier this morning announcing this. For those that don't know, myresortnetwork.com is one of the major web sites for listing timeshares for sale or rent. I sold one of my timeshares through them last year.

Below is a link to their announcement.

Retirement and Timeshares and Auction and Exchange News - MyResortNetwork Newsletter

I have no connection with them other than being a satisfied customer and hopefully this will be of some interest to folks. They are also going to be auctioning timeshares.

When I click through on their exchange link Timeshare Exchange Swap your timeshare- My Resort Network

I get a page suggesting I deposit with DAE. Not exactly what I would call a new option. I was hoping for more.

DAE also provides services for the Redweek model. Personally I believe Redweek blew an excellent opportunity but JMHO.

You need to reread the newsletter. It says that the exchange option is coming in the near future. At the present time they are suggesting DAE until their's is ready. Now maybe it will be DAE. I don't know at this time and will have to wait until it is actually here.

I have belonged to Redweek.com since they first began but cannot comment on their exchanging as I have never ued it nor even looked at it.

I can read and I did read it.

            2. We are developing the technology that will allow our customers to deposit their week in an exchange program free of charge. You only pay the exchange fee when you make an exchange. So if you can't use your week and can't rent it then you can deposit it into an exchange program free of charge.

watch this page for more information:

They would be better served if they left the link out or changed the information at that link to state that in the interim they suggest DAE as an exchange company.

I wasn't implying that you can't read. I just posted it as information that may or may not be of any interest to somebody. It really doesn't matter to me as I am very content with what I have now.
