OMG there were about 150 Exchange Opportunities posted today
I would like to see various (RCI)
Exchange Op - Sub-Forums for
RCI: US Weeks - US Points
RCI: International (Outside the US)
That way members would be able to see
which area and resort they are looking for
without having to scan through all three
I must say that I fully agree with Lawren. I look almost every day and it only takes seconds to see what's where. You also must realize that by listing everything outside the US as International would be shunning those members that actually LIVE outside the US. I am sure that those that post the exchange ops would be pleased to have your assistance if you choose to post in the form you have indicated that you would like to see ops posted.

This is not going to happen under my watch. These postings take
more than an hour for individuals to do and they do it because of
their love of the game. They are not paid or compensated in anyway.
It takes a few moments to scroll thru 2 or 3 pages of exchange opportunities.
If people are going to be THAT lazy they can search on-line for themselves.
Or you can go check OY where they have less than 20 posted a day.
Marti, before you make a suggestion that those who are so kind with their time and knowledge change the way they post ex-ops why don't you see for yourself how much time is involved in the searching and posting? I tried it a few times and thought to myself OMG this is HARD WORK!
Or instead of suggesting other ways to make the job more tedious, why not assist by taking an area and doing the searches every day and freeing up the current posters time? I am certain they would be thrilled to have some of this tediousness removed from their shoulders.

Marti......I don't think that Lawren has an "attitude." To be honest, I just don't think you understand how difficult, and time consuming it is to post RCI sightings. You seem to be a little tone deaf to the responses to your initial suggestion. Nothing wrong with making suggestions, but.........

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
All I was trying to say is that it would be easier to keep track
of all of the great RCI sightings present & future (reference)
if they were sorted out - instead of posted in just one forum
It would not take any more time for the poster
to place points sightings in a points forum, etc
When someone files paperwork in a file drawer
It is much easier to find later - if it was filed
properly instead of just placing it in the drawer
I agree with Marti that predetermined sections would be easier to find and review based on my uses. I use the sightings board for historical research not current needs. The interest in points sighting has only come about lately with the move of Disney to RCI points and since I never go to Orlando and don't have much interest in Disney resorts find all the Disney sightings cumbersome.
Be that as it may, I will defer to those who post sightings and if its easier for them to post in one place then I'll just deal with it.

The sightings board is kind of like my desk right now. I've got to look through a lot of piles to find what I want.
