I have a good friend who owns points and is totally satisfied with it. He and his wife would never, ever consider going back to traditional weeks. Before converting to points they were very dissatisfied, and were ready to bail out of RCI, and were seriously considering abadoning at least one of their properteis.
Since converting to points, they are reenergized about timesharing. Points helped one of their resorts retain an owner as a paying owner, to the benefit, of course, of all of the owners at the resort.

We have other friends who own five timeshares and typically trade four or five weeks per year, entirely through RCI. They are completely satisifed with RCI. I guess that technically that's not growing satisfaction with RCI, because RCI hadn't sunk to start with in their opinion. But they are certainly more than satisified with RCI and their exchanges.
I keep trying to do direct exchanges with them for one of their Hawaii properties, but they are so pleased with what they get through RCI that they have no interest in trading with me for places such as Club Regina and Embassy Poi`pu.
