You don't see me constantly posting how wonderful some exchange company is working for me. You have been doing it for years and anyone who has been around that long would be an idiot not to be suspicious. It is obvious that you have no idea what I do here, but I assure you that it is infinitely more than you contribute.

Tony, what is there to be suspicious about? When I get a good exchange I like to share it with the forum too. That's why I mentioned DAE. I think it's important to support the indies because pretty soon RCI won't be of any use to us the way they are going.

I have gotten some great mexico trades on sfx, I have always thought they look out for their cheerleaders and defenders on the different forums, probably not a bad move, it is great PR for them, and when people complain, they have a small army ready to deploy.

I, for one, disagree. Your posts are frequently insulting (and I have been personally singled out and insulted by you in a public post in the past) and your posts often provide little value -- like your first post in this thread. I honestly have no idea why you chose to make that post. Jealousy of John's trades perhaps? I really don't know.

If there was a way I could put you on my "ignore" list, I would. Then I wouldn't have to deal with this drivel. Unfortunately, the owners of this board have made it impossible to "ignore" a user with moderator status. That's their choice, I guess.

And just to drive home the point, here is a private message I just received from tonyg:

But still no response on why he felt the need to post his nonsense on this thread in the first place.

Well, I suppose you could call me a cheerleader. I've gotten exchanges to everyplace I've asked them to get me - except Washington DC so far. I've used SFX exclusively for the last 3 years and I'm a satisfied customer. It sounds like John gets fantastic exchanges from them. I've been willing to take a lesser resort at times to get where I wanted to go. For instance, I was happy to get Villas de Santa Fe during the Alburquerque Balloon Fiesta because that's the location and dates I requested.

Anyway, last night I requested specific resorts in Orlando for Oct/Nov 2010, using a bonus week. Within 2 hours I had an email from Scarlet for Hilton at Seaworld. I'm very happy with this fulfillment and the time to fill it was astounding.

Cheers to Scarlet and SFX. I've also gotten great service from Elena and Jennifer.
