What is the differences between Trading Places Maui and Trading Places International?

They are totally separate and different companies. Trading Places operates out of California and is a much larger company than Trading Places Maui. Trading Places seems to seems to have many of their managed resorts in the western U.S., mostly California, Oregon, Mexico, some Hawaii, but has resorts accepted in trade from all over U.S.

Trading Places Maui is much a much smaller company and operates out of Maui. They have Maui Hill Resort as their focus.

I've been very successful using both companies for our Hawaii trip in 2008, and have confirmed weeks with both for February 2010. Also, Trading Places Maui has the request first option. Both have WONDERFUL customer service, and actually seem to WANT TO BE VERY HELPFUL!

What are their Exchange fees?

I think that neither Trading Places nor Trading Places Maui have membership fees that are required. If I remember correstly, both have exchange fees of $149.
