I posted this in the general discussions, as this "organization" operates from a number of "satellite" offices around the US.. I've heard of calls originating from Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, and now evidently Kansas as well..

This is another group that is reported to call you with the promise that they have a buyer for your timeshare (at a ridiculously high price- normally more than the developer currently sells for), gets you to pay a fee in the thousands, and then the mysterious buyer disappears- along with your money!

I love it when the owner says he's shocked. He's an accountant and he's shocked the AG is looking into his practice of taking money for nothing? It makes me wonder if the IRS needs to look at the tax breaks he's been selling his clients at the end of the year.

Funny! That same thought crossed my mind as the "possible tax benefits" is part of the salespitch that just got Apex fined by the state of Vermont for misleading sales practices....
